XZ1(S)-AL RockTec

The inherent characteristics of low voltage cables mean they can only be buried if the terrain is prepared to avoid damage, or if they are installed within a tube. Both methods can become very costly, both in materials and, above all, in installation time.

The use of the XZ1 (S) RockTec cable facilitates the optimization of time and resources:

  • The installation process is reduced to digging the trench, installing the cable, and burying it using the same excavated material.
  • There is no need to install or guide tubes, manholes, etc.
  • Fine aggregates are not required for burial.
  • Trenches can be smaller since no construction element needs to be introduced into them.

The RockTec cable has impact protection of 48 Joules without compromising the cable’s proper functioning, so it will not suffer significant damage from the impacts associated with burial. Additionally, this cable is halogen-free, has anti-rodent protection, and exhibits excellent performance in water, complying with category AD7.

Although it is specially designed for renewable energy installations, it is also suitable for connections, underground distribution networks, and indoor or receiving installations.
