Throughout the history of Técnicas del Cable, overcoming difficulties has been always a characteristic of the business. For instance, one of the most achievements has been to get the homologation in ADIF, which was a hard challenge.
The continuous improvements and developments of the technology in the sector, especially at high speed, gave us the chance to be placed on the group of homologated suppliers for this kind of cable.
Técnicas del Cable produced a significant percentage of cables for high-speed railways in Spain.
New normative
We deliver all kinds of cables for this industry including solutions for commuter tracks, high-speed, signalization cables, infrastructures for stations and substations. We produce almost all the cables for this sector.
Although our products are subjected to tough standards, new regulations for low voltage include requirements for fire resistance according to different euroclasses. Nowadays, Técnicas del cable delivers cables under CPR Dca, Cca, and B2ca standards.
Our Products
We have delivered supplies and taken part in different flagship projects such as AVE a La Mecca, underground systems in Latin America, central and northern Europe.
Our compromise with safety has always one of the main priorities. Even before new regulations were mandatory, we produced fire-resistant cables to ensure safety.
CPR regulations did not cause a change in the way we are used to working because we already manufactured high-security cables (AS) and augmented high security (AS+).
AS rated cables are halogen-free, flame retardant, with no-fire propagation, low smoke emission, and reduced fume opacity. AS+ have the same characteristics plus the addition of fire resistance.
