RZ1(AS) – Aluminum

The RZ1(AS) – Aluminum halogen free cables are suitable for transport, distribution and permanent installations protected or unprotected. In case of fire, these cables do not emit toxic gases and do not give off corrosive gases, avoiding any dangerous situation to people or electronic devices. Because of this are highly recommended for use in public places such as: hospitals, train stations, schools, shopping centers and airports.

  • RZ1(AS) – Aluminum 0,6/1 kV are manufactured with green colored sheath according standard UNE 2112
  • RZ1(AS) – Aluminum 0,6/1 Kv are manufactured in other colors according to IEC 60502-1.
  • Insulation for multicore cables is identified according UNE 21089-1 (up to 5 conductors)

Conductor: Rigid Aluminum conductor, class 2.
Insulation: Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE), type DIX 3 according UNE 21123, UNE HD 603 and XLPE according IEC 60502.
Filler sheath: Extruded filler for multicore cables. Thermoplastic HFFR material suitable for the CABLE construction.
Outer sheath: Thermoplastic polyolefin sheath DMZ-E type according to UNE 21123 and ST8 according to IEC 60502-1
Nominal Voltage: 0,6/1 kV C.A
Voltage Test: 3.500 V C.A.
Maximum conductor temperatures: Normal operation 90°C . Short circuit (5sec) 250°C
