If there was a date in everybody’s mind related to electric industries, it must have been 01/07/2017 in which the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR) became mandatory. The new legislation is harmonized along with all the countries and products that belong to the EU, in our case energy, telecommunication, data, and control cables.
The ministry of economy and industry has proceeded to adapt the existing legislation, low voltage electrical regulations (REBT), and security against fire in industrial areas (RSCIEI), to the requirements of the new CPR as EU was demanding.
In this uncertain period, Técnicas del Cable, confirms that many of its products have already been granted with a CPR certification, and they are ready to be commercialized and installed.
